We are one of the leading Designers and Manufacturers of cranes in the country, established in the year 1975. The company is a brain child of Mr. R.S. Nalwa, an alumini of IIT(Mumbai), who has been involved in the design and manufacture of cranes since 1966. Due to his innovations and foresightedness of the requirement of cranes in our country he had successfully taken up the task of standardization of cranes, for the first time in India, in the year 1969 & 70, which till date has been one of the greatest achievement of the Indian Crane Industry.
IHistory witnessed a dynamic start of UNICON with the manufacture of special furnace maintenance platforms for Thermal Power Stations. This was done for the first time in India, thereby marking our successful start in business and also establishing our technical expertise. Thereon we started our steady climb towards diversification and product additions, by adding other equipments like Gear Boxes, Gear couplings and Sluice Gate Hoists in our range of manufacture. Soon we added Cranes to this impressive list and established a strong and sound footing in this field.
